To clarify, it's two issues, not one: Guild Halls are designed as PvE: it's not enough to set the flag for WvW; there are aspects about how it's built that assumed PvE, not PvP or WvW and they'd have to adjust (or create a new map that looks identical) Most people using GH are PvE-centric.

Will the process of capturing the new guild hall be like it was for the HoT guild halls of paying for it and then doing the events inside to capture it. Just want to know as my guild wants to go for it right away and we are trying to figure out if we need to get a group together to do a capture event of fighting things to get it.
Guild Enhancements are buffs that, once unlocked by a guild, can be obtained free of charge from a vendor in guild halls. Only one can be active on a character at once, but they can be switched at any time by buying a different enhancement from the vendor.
Anet already knows how many guilds number in the 100s of actual active players. It's not hard to imagine that they used these statistics to frame out how they would tier out their guild halls. ie. Guild halls that become full fledged megaservers should be extremely rare. We wouldn't want them eating into resources used for the rest of the world.
Nope. You still have the super restrictive decoration system. The order of fixes needs to be: Guild Arena has WvW ruleset, which is the gamemode where player vs player experiences happen in the same gear as PvE. The guild hall should just be classed as a WvW map, so your template and build swaps accordingly. Regardless if you like WvW or not
Regarding new restructured WvW it would be awesome to be able to hold trainings in Guild Halls (for guild/alliance members), regarding objectives use, strength of siege, tacivators, movement etc. This being said, it would be great to have some training ground in GH with similar stuff like Arena, but for WvWvW!
We are a small guild of 15, with 3-4 regular players. We were more than hyped that we could finally obtain a guild hall after years. But, alas, the timer issue always got us. ANET should add-on an extra 3-5 minutes per boss kill, so the time is still challenging yet doable for 2-4 people. Love EoD, except for this little issue.
