GT7 is a "sim-cade" where it's more focused on being a car sim but still has some arcady race feel. There is no open world, you access all races through the menu so it depends on what you're looking for. The main "story" is the Cafe where you get a menu that directs you to certain racetracks while using certain cars to unlock new cars and menus Gran Turismo's presentation isn't for everyone, it can be a bit much for some but it's clear the developers adore cars and that shows throughout. Thanks to the PS5's SSD speed, being able to jump straight into races without a real loading screen is an added bonus too. Its absolutely not worth it.
