My 2017 F-PACE has just 38k and I noticed the coolant level was low. After topping it off with the orange stuff, it was fine for a month. Then the warning light came on again. On my last service Jaguar called me into the workshop to report brake disc corrosion on fronts. I explained I was a Tata Steel Metallurgist and had an extensive knowledge of Steel, Cast Iron and Corrosion and was very concerned about Jaguar discs and longevity. The dealership has not formerly diagnosed the issue, but JAG North America has stated that the failure was caused by the piston rings. Unlike your experience, JAG North America will NOT honor the warranty. The dealership has provided an Estimate of Repairs at $38,415 to complete a long block engine replacement. Clicking sound when turning at slow speeds and center console issue. I have a couple of issues with my F-Pace S and searched the forum already and did not find anything on this. When I am driving slowly in a parking garage or turning into my driveway slowly, I hear a click coming from the wheel well. Does not matter if I am turning right or left. 1. Did not do it initially. 2. If rotors get coating of rust from lack of use, all other areas of rotor clean within a mile or two. 3. No other F-Pace at dealership has this issue. Clean and worn to outer edge. 4. Clearly this is a fault as no pad pressure to outside edge now. 3. Push Auto stop start button. 4. Pause for a second after stepping on the brake prior to changing gears. The F-Pace wakes up slowly, and doesn't like to be rushed. But then it goes pretty good. Ordered 10/3/16 Built 11/4/16 Delivered 12/8/16. Initial Thoughts on 2024 F-Pace. Well, we've had our F-Pace for about a week and a half.
