The trick is not to cover the bearings, but to fill the spaces between them. Then I spray zip kicker over the glue, immediately curing it into a pretty convincing mound of infected flesh with boils popping out. I use a scraper to remove glue from the tops of the bearings so they retain their smooth bulbousness.
